Pink polocrosse!

Guyra Polocrosse Club are holding a charity polocrosse carnival next weekend September 13 and 14, with funds raised to be donated to the McGrath Foundation. Entry to the Carnival is free and promises to be a great weekend for a great cause. Spectators are welcome so why not come along and enjoy a great day out.

The carnival will be held at the Bald Blair recreation ground with play to start at 9am Saturday morning. They will be running A,B,C,D and open junior grades depending on nominations received. All people on the grounds have to be wearing pink at all times or their will be a $5 fine.

Bar and canteen facilities will be available all weekend with cooked breakfasts and dinners available. If you have always wanted to have a go or want to play just one carnival this year then this is it.

16/12/2008 | So we now have desperate parents attempting to bribe teachers to get their children into a selective high school. What a sad indictment of our education policies, the holy grail of which is parental choice.
