Second snowfall for the year

10/07/2008 5:00:00 AM
A cold snap moving across the State has brought the second snow fall for the year to Guyra.

Light snow and sleet showers fell on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning with the temperature overnight falling to -2.1 degrees.

Heavier snow began to fall just before 1pm and began settling soon after. By 3pm a covering of 2cm was evident with heavy snow still falling.

Hopefully we will have pictures for next week. Readers are welcome to submit photos for publication.
